Malabar River Festival 2019
The Malabar river festival is one of the biggest kayak festivals in Asia. It is south India’s solely utmost adventures competition which is coordinate in support of Kerala tourism by DTPC Kozhikode and Madras fun tools. It is the 7th edition of the Malabar river festival which is scheduled to begin from July 26 – July 28, 2019, at Iruvanjhipuzha and Chalipuzha River at Thusharagiri in Kozhikode.
This is an international Kayaking competition and kayaks from more than 15 countries will compete in this championship. The most highlight of this race is the international race series will unify some of the famous white water athletes. The competition is classified into 3 categories like boater cross, the extreme race and giant slalom. Furthermore, the contest will be conducted in 3 categories such as beginners, intermediate kayak-er and professionals. Best paddlers of the Indian subcontinent are also awarded on this occasion.
The entrance to the river festival is free, but there is a registration fee for athletes. Ticket includes a festival T-shirt, bib, lunch on all day of the race and also invite to the kayak’s party.
